Effective February 1, 3M New Zealand Ltd has appointed Atlas Gentech, a prominent communications products distributor in the New Zealand market, as a master distributor of 3M™ Volition™ Structured Cabling Solutions.
Atlas Gentech has appointed Mr Rhys Clare as Category Manager who will work to expand 3M’s activity with installers and specifiers. In typical salesman’s mode Rhys’s comment on the appointment was to say “My mobile number is 0274499880, call me for 3M Volition structured cabling solutions.”
3M New Zealand Sales & Marketing Manager, June Tienstra, said “This partnership with Atlas Gentech will provide customers with significantly improved access to 3M Volition structured cabling solutions, including technical support, training, certification, and of course cost-effective, high performance, reliable solutions for copper, fibre optic and hybrid networks.”
Electrical wholesalers will continue to be serviced by Ecco Pacific who will work closely with Atlas Gentech. Andrew Cordes, Ecco Pacific Chief Executive, said they were looking forward to working with Atlas Gentech and 3M to deliver a high level of service via the electrical wholesale channel.
